| Classes in Grades 1 through 5 are going to take a field trip to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry on Thursday, May 23. We will leave at nine o'clock and come back to school at two o'clock. While we are at OMSI, the children will go on a tour of OMSI from nine thirty to noon. Students can bring their own lunches or buy one in OMSI's cafeteria. After lunch, the children will work on a worksheet about the various exhibits in the museum. The children will be free to explore OMSI, with adult supervision, after they are done with the worksheet. Volunteer chaperones are welcome, but they must sign up to be a chaperone by Tuesday, May twenty first. Chaperone positions are limited. All permission slips must be turned in by Wednesday, May twenty second.Children that have not turned in their permission slips will stay at the school to participate in the activities that their teachers have planned for the day.
